For a sweet and spicy kick, try this sauce as a glaze or dipping sauce for pork, game meat or even BBQ’d chicken.
- 2 tablespoons prepared plum sauce
- 1 cinnamon quill
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon ground chilli (hot)
- 1/2 cup red wine
Combine all ingredients in a small saucepan over a high heat.
Bring to the boil then reduce the heat until it is just bubbling.
Allow to reduce and thicken. This will be about 10 minutes.
Remove from heat and pour into a serving bowl.
