This recipe is something a little bit different and will not appeal to everyone’s palate. If you enjoy a good drop of red wine, dark chocolate and an antipasto platter, this is the dish for you. Please keep an open mind as the kick of salty anchovies and olives, paired with the bitter sweet chocolate is surprisingly good.
- 6 anchovies
- 2/3 cup black pitted olives
- 1tsp Dijon Mustard
- 1tsp Capers
- 1 clove garlic, crushed
- 400g dark chocolate – chopped
- Splash olive oil
- Salt to taste
Put all ingredients into a food processor and blend. Taste and season as required.
Serve with fresh crunchy bread and soft goats cheese.
